Sustainably Grown Flowers

Joy you can hold in your own two hands.

Located at Sitka Farms in the Squamish River Valley, we call this land our growing home. We take an ecological approach to farming using organic and regenerative methods. This means building and nurturing the soil to provide critical habitat for essential microorganisms and pollinators alike.

Sustainability is at our heart.

Humbly cultivating flowers on the unceded and traditional lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation).

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

We offer flower subscriptions that you can purchase in advance of the cutting season. This supports our growing efforts early in the year when we invest in seeds and supplies, prepare the land and sow flowers in the spring. In return, you get the best in locally grown flowers at various intervals throughout the growing season.

Choosing Local matters

Although rooted in its admiration for nature, flower farming and the floral industry have both evolved to rely heavily on single use plastics, flown-in products, pesticides, chemicals, bleaching, dyeing and synthetic painting - not to mention worker exploitation.

Thankfully, consumer support of "slow flowers" has begun to blossom and we're seeing an explosion of growth in the number of rural and urban flower farms providing sustainably and locally grown blooms.

It's clear - our choices impact things like climate change and social justice. Thank you for choosing us and supporting small farms and local flowers!
